COVID-19 Funeral Assistance

If your loved one passed away due to COVID-19, you may be eligible for financial assistance. FEMA is now providing financial assistance of up to $9,000 per individual to cover funeral expenses for families who have lost a loved one due to COVID-19. Assistance is available for costs incurred after January 20, 2020 for funeral services, burial, and cremation.
