Vivian Shepard

December 15, 1944 — September 9, 2020

Our Sweetie Vivian Elaine Shepard peacefully passed into Eternal Joy on September 9, 2020 in Englewood, Colorado. She was warmly welcomed into the Heavenly Realms by her Parents Jesse Starrett and Norma Mae Starrett.

and also by her four Brothers Robert, Richard, Ronald and Lewis.  She is survived by her Sister Virginia Slane, her Husband Landes Shepard, and numerous Nieces and Nephews; her Beloved Dogs Lucky and Sammy, and cat L'il Girl.

As a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she enjoyed her life-long Church service & served faithfully in numerous callings, including 2 full time missions – first when young in the Southeastern States, and later with her husband in Wyoming in 2012.  She served in many capacities when called, but enjoyed most her opportunities to lead or direct the music in meetings and as choir director. She served in the Denver LDS Temple for many years. As an animal lover, she volunteered at Denver Dumb Friends League.

Vivian retired from Denver Health Medical Center after 32 years.”

Some of Elaine's favorite things were Family, her Pets, pancakes drowned in warm maple syrup, the outdoors – including catching brook trout, dancing to Oldies Rock & Roll, pink roses, and anything to do with her proud Wyoming upbringing.

She will be remembered by her cute smile and warm willing heart to serve those around her whenever needed.

Her Family has requested that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in her memory to Denver Dumb Friends League.
