Timothy Devlin

November 4, 1963 — September 8, 2020

Timothy Neil Devlin, 56, was born on November 4, 1963 in Kittery, Maine to Kathleen and John Devlin. He died on September 8, 2020. Tim is survived by his children: Casey, Jackson and Nora; his father, John; his brother, Peter Devlin (Princess); his sister, Sharon Momot (John); and his loving nieces and nephews.

Tim spent his youth in Plattsburgh, New York, a place of cherished childhood memories, and he spent his high school years in Edison, New Jersey, where he made lifelong friends.

After earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati, Tim and his wife, Jennifer Meyerrose, moved to Colorado, where he earned a law degree from the University of Denver in 1996. As an attorney, Tim specialized in land use and development law.

Tim absolutely loved the Colorado outdoors, especially skiing and boating, and he passed this passion on to his children. As each of his children learned to walk, they also learned to ski! Each Christmas, Casey, Jackson and Nora would discover new skis under the tree, or a new bike for summertime family rides. Tim tackled and embraced the beauty and challenges of Colorado’s landscapes, and taught his kids to do the same. To this day, when the three Devlin kids (now young adults!) hit the slopes, they recall fond memories with Dad.

Summertime found the family on the water, with Tim sharing his love for boating. A favorite destination was Jackson Lake. As the Devlin children grew, they enjoyed bringing their friends along on boat excursions and ski trips with their dad. (The family dogs were often along, too!) For many summers, Tim also served as a baseball coach for Jackson’s teams.

Tim will be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends. He loved deeply. He cherished his many friends and the bonds he developed. His intellect, sense of humor, energy and passion will forever impact all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: Southeast Denver Baseball League https://www2.jevin.net/PublicDonation.aspx?Data=EAeFlSszB0GQ9Y74kuRRNw==

A private celebration and memorial of Tim’s life is planned on September 28, 2020 at Horan & McConaty. He will be laid to rest alongside his mother in Colonia, New Jersey.  The family requests that, if you would like to write a favorite memory of Tim for his children to hold as a keepsake, please email it to: Jackson.h.devlin@gmail.com.
