Thomas Moore

December 18, 1960 — July 18, 2021

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Thomas Christopher Moore on the evening of July 18, 2021. He was 60 years old.

Thomas was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on December 18, 1960, to Wallace Sheldon Moore and Catherine Mehan Likely Moore. He was one of five children; Lucy, Elizabeth (Buffy), Tom, Kate, and Patrick.

The Moore family moved to Denver, Colorado in 1975. This would become his home for the remainder of his life. In 1982, he married the love of his life Debby. They had four children together.

He graduated from Arapahoe High School in 1979 and went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in photography from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California. Later, Tom returned to college and received a Master’s degree in education from Regis University.

For over 20 years, Tom ran two successful photography businesses;  “TCM Productions” commercial photography, and  “Party Crashers” event photography. He also taught and mentored countless photography students at the Art Institute of Colorado from 1994 to 2016. He loved photography and shared his gift with others through timeless photos and the education of future photographers.

Thomas was passionate about baseball and spent free time coaching his three sons in their youth, followed by athletes at Littleton, Heritage, and Highlands Ranch high schools. He also loved to spend time tending to the family garden (his special place).

He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years Deborah Anne Moore and four children: Thomas Christopher (jr), Mackenzie, Connor, and Patrick. He has one grandchild on the way, due December 2, 2021.

A small (family only) service will take place at St Thomas More Catholic Church on Friday August 6, 2021, at 11:00am.

Please join the family for one last garden party on August 7, 2021, from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at the family home located at 13515 Omega Cir, Littleton CO, 80124 (open to family, friends, students, and acquaintances). Refreshments will be served. Wear bright colors to celebrate Tom.
