Thomas Jividen

Thomas Lee Jividen, 62, of Englewood, Colorado, passed away suddenly on August 7, 2022. He was born February 1,1960 in Omaha, Nebraska to Bernie and Betty Jividen, and was.the oldest of three children.

The Jividen family relocated to Thornton, Colorado in 1977 where Tom completed his senior year at Northglenn High School.

He met Lori, the love of his life in 1987, they were married in 1989 and spent almost 35 years together.

Tom worked a variety of jobs in construction and stayed in that general industry for the rest of his career. He did everything from sawing concrete, to installing traffic light cabinets, to troubleshooting traffic signal networks. He retired from the City of Denver in August 2020 after almost 15 years of service.

Tom was very photogenic, quick to smile and had a kind and generous soul. He found joy in cooking enough delicious food at each social gathering for everyone to enjoy and have something extra to take home. He took care of us all, and he will be dearly missed by every person he ever met.

He was a loving husband, brother, step-father and proud grandfather to three grandsons. Tom was proceeded in death by his parents Bernie and Betty Jividen, and leaves behind his wife Lori Jividen, brother Richard Jividen, sister Patty (Glenn) Loveridge, step-son Scott (Amy) Chaput, step-daughter Toni (Kevin) Pohle, and grandsons Andrew Pohle, Zach Chaput and Nicholas Pohle.
