Ruby Renes

Ruby Karamigios Renes, born May 24, 1927, Denver, Colorado. She loved her Greek nickname ""Rubina."" Ruby was preceded in death by her husband John Renes. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to three sons James, Michael (Molly), and Thomas (Rosemary); grandchildren Alexander, Lance, Lauren, Christine, Tommy, and Jennie, and great-grandchildren Jake, Casey, and, Blake. Ruby was a graduate of Denver's West High School and attended the University of Denver. As a military spouse (US Air Force) Ruby accompanied her husband and raised her family in various world-wide locations while supporting and participating in many military family philanthropic activities. After retirement, she and her husband John returned to Denver and were associated with the establishment of St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church in Greenwood Village. Trisagion and Funeral Service Friday, January 2, 2015, 10:00am, St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 5555 S. Yosemite St., Greenwood Village, CO.
