Mike Konzen

Mike Konzen of Lakewood has passed of natural causes May 8th, 2022.
Born to Wilfred and Goldie Konzen March 9th, 1942 in Dubuque, Iowa, Mike eventually graduated High School, and subsequently joined the U.S. Navy, where he could enlist at age 17 and serve a three year tour. After several tours on the east coast and Cuba, where he witnessed the Cuban Missle Crisis first hand, he left the service with a friend from NY who Introduced Mike to Joan Cruser, whom he married and also became a father to her 3 boys, Ronald, Marshall and Mitchell.
Joan and Mike were later blessed with the birth of their son, Christopher.
Mike's tenure with AT&T in New York, eventually brought him to Colorado with Joan and Christopher. Upon retiring in 1998, Mike was able to travel with Joan and enjoy their home in Lakewood.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Goldie as well as his son Mitchell.
Mike leaves behind his wife Joan of 58 years and 3 sons - Chris, Marshall and Ron; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
