Mikaela Lakin

Mikaela M. Lakin, 24, of Parker, Colorado passed away on September 18, 2020. She is survived by mother, Stephanie Renken; brother, Alexander Lakin; father, Michael Lakin; grandmother, Connie Ostroha; grandfather, Steve Ostroha; and beloved dog, Quentin. Mikaela was a dedicated officer in the Aurora Police Department. She loved all of the outdoor activities that Colorado had to offer. She loved camping, hiking and snowboarding. In her short life she impacted lives too numerous to count. Her light and love were impossible to escape. She will be missed by so many and her watch is over now.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 4-8pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 East Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora. Please note that there will be a limit of 50 people at a time for the visitation. Our staff will help monitor the flow of guests attending.

Funeral Service will be Friday, September 25, 2020, 1:00pm at Heritage Christian Center, 14401 East Exposition Avenue, Aurora.
