Mary Nastu

Mary Lika Nastu, age 76, of Fairfield, Connecticut, beloved wife for over 54 years of Michael Nastu, died peacefully with family at her side at MacKenzie Place Retirement Community in Fort Collins, Colorado, on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Born on July 5, 1938 in New York, NY, to the late Kosta and Victoria Lika, Mary grew up in Bridgeport, CT, and graduated from Bassick High School. Mary retired recently as a Sales Representative to the gift industry. She loved design, fashion, art and decorating. She will always be remembered for her generous spirit, boundless energy and complete devotion to her family, especially the endless love she had for her grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents as well as her loved brothers Arthur and Kenneth Lika, her mother-and-father-in-law Gus and Thoma Nastu, her sister-and-brother-in-law Raymond and Terri Trinkley and brother-in-law Robert Felner. In addition to her loving and devoted husband, Michael, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Jennifer Nastu of Fort Collins, CO, and their children, Elizabeth and Michael; her daughter, Andrea Nastu Griffin of Jacksonville, NC, and her children Katie, Anisha and great grand daughter Mikayla; her sisters-in-law Hope Lika of New York City, Barbara Felner and Sophie Pittu of Fairfield, CT, Nell O'Neill and her husband, Gene, of Bridgeport, CT; and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins. A Trisagion will be held on Wednesday at 7 PM and Funeral Service on Thursday at 10 AM all at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 745 East 5th Street, Loveland, CO.
