Mary Mernah

Mary F. (Bergeron) Mernah, age 75, passed away peacefully Sunday morning May 28, 2023 at her home with her daughter and husband at her side. Born and raised in Manchester, NH, she was the daughter of Richard and Mary P. Bergeron. She graduated from Immaculata High School, and with honors from the University of New Hampshire. Mary worked as the assistant registrar at Northeastern University before moving to Colorado in the mid 1970's. She worked as a securities trader for 20 years for several prominent Colorado firms. Mary then worked more than a dozen years as a payroll specialist with Whiting Petroleum Corporation. Most recently up until her retirement, Mary worked as a tax specialist for Forest Tax and Accounting.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Patrick; her daughter, Molly, of Durango, CO; her brother Dick Bergeron of Jennings, LA; her late brother Allan (Bergie) Bergeron of Denver, CO; her sister Anne (Rick) Traylor of Goodview, VA; her sister Betty Bergeron of Aurora, CO; her sister Elaine (Terry) Porter of Rohnert Park, CA; and 17 nephews and nieces.

Mary was a wonderful lady who lived a good life, always leaving each life she touched glad that they had met her.  She will be remembered by many for her kindness, perseverance, colorful outfits, infectious laugh, and masterful bridge game. She will be missed.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 8th, at 10:00am at Risen Christ Catholic Church, 3060 S.Monaco Parkway, Denver, CO 80222, with a Celebration Of Life reception following at Heritage Eagle Bend Clubhouse, 23155 E. Heritage Parkway, Aurora, CO 80016.

In lieu of flowers, Mary had requested that memorial gifts be given to Our Little Roses Foreign Mission Society Home for Girls in Honduras (  https://www.ourlittleroses.org/  ).
