Mark Krabbenhoft

November 28, 1951 — September 5, 2021

Mark David Krabbenhoft was born in Moorhead, MN on November 28, 1951 and died from heart failure on September 5, 2021. He was raised on the family farm near Sabin, MN by his parents Eldon and Sherley Krabbenhoft.  He went to schools in Sabin and Moorhead, MN, graduating from high school in 1969.  He furthered his education by attending Moorhead Area Technical Institute and graduated from the Diesel Mechanic program in 1971.  He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sabin, MN.

He met his wife Linda in elementary school and they started dating in high school. They married on September 4, 1971 in Comstock, MN and moved to Colorado for work and to raise a family.

Mark started work as a mechanic helper at McCoy Caterpillar Co. in 1971.  McCoy Co. was purchased by Wagner Equipment Co. in 1976 where he worked various jobs as a diesel mechanic, field service mechanic and in management.  He was the General Manager of Parts and Service when he retired in 2009.

He enjoyed several hobbies including riding ATVs, motorcycles, woodworking, playing pool with neighbors, fishing and spending time with his family. He loved to attend activities that his grandkids were involved in, including sports, theater and choir concerts. He was a very involved Papa and always had inside jokes with his grandkids, texted and called them daily, and always expressed his love for them. He was a mentor to his sons-in-law and enjoyed fishing and going skeet shooting with them.  His daughters enjoyed daily texts with comic strips, jokes and horoscopes or just time to talk.  Mark and Linda would travel back to Minnesota for various events and visits with family and friends.  He was a member of Lord of the Hills Lutheran Church in Centennial, CO.  He will be missed by his many family members and friends.

Mark is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda, their daughters Jody (Jim) Tulloch, Kelly (Chris) Brunn, their grandchildren Lucas (17), Amelia (16), Logan (11) Tulloch and Haylee (11) and Landon (9) Brunn, his brothers Steve (Connie), Tim (Lou) Krabbenhoft, in-laws Diane (Bruce) Thorsrud, Stuart Evert, Scott (Rochelle) Evert, Bradley (Kyloe) Evert, 13 nieces and nephews, 16 great-nieces and nephews.
