Marjorie Jean Major was born February 4, 1947 in Riverton, Wyoming to Harold and Anne (House) Major. At the age of 2 she moved with her family to Addy, Washington. In 1959 Marge expressed her choice to follow Jesus. After high school she took nurse’s training and worked as a registered nurse in Colville, Washington.
In August, 1971 Marge started in the ministry. She spent almost 52 years sharing the gospel in Washington, Alaska, Colorado, North Dakota, and Kansas/Nebraska. She was greatly appreciated by those she labored with and amongst. She will always be remembered by her spirit of care and love.
Marge died Sunday, May 14, 2023 from injuries sustained in a fall. She is survived by her siblings Roger (Barbara) Major of Pearce, Arizona, Sharon (Russ) Farnell of San Jose, California, Joyce Major of Safford, Arizona, Carolyn (Jim) Bisby of Chandler, Arizona and many nieces and nephews. Marge is also survived by a host of friends who were as close as family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral arrangements are planned for Saturday at 11 AM in the meeting shed at the Elizabeth Colorado Convention grounds, which is at:

There will be a viewing before the service from 9-11AM. She will be buried right there at the grounds in the little private cemetery immediately following.
