Marilyn Holcomb

Marilyn Lee Holcomb, 76, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, passed away peacefully September 23, 2020.  She was born November 10, 1943 in Ogden, Utah to Eva Jeanne and Robert Lee Sneddon.

Marilyn was born in Ogden, Utah.  She was a coach’s daughter and cheered for all the football teams her father coached and scouted.  She loved meeting new people and formed life-long relationships wherever the family moved.  Ultimately settling in California, Marilyn thrived in the California Honor Society and had a special talent as a public speaker.  She was a passionate leader and mentor with the AT&T Corporation for 30 years.

Most importantly, Marilyn was devoted to her family.  She supported immediate and extended family and took great joy in hosting a family gathering.  She also participated in the community as a member of The Church of the Latter-day Saints Relief Society and choir.  She delighted in her retirement role as a wish granter in the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Marilyn is a loving mother, sister and friend who is greatly loved and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her sons, Bret E. Holcomb and wife Sandy L. Holcomb, of Highlands Ranch; Robert D. Holcomb, of Salt Lake City, Utah; sister Robyn Rasmussen, of Salt Lake City, Utah. Preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Sneddon and mother, Eva J. Sneddon.

A viewing and services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the Horan & McConaty Chapel, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, CO. 80122.  The viewing will be from 11:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m., followed by the Funeral service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
