Loveland, CO. - Lucinda (Cindi) Jane Heward Kethcart, 66, died Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at her home in Loveland, after a five-year struggle with Frontotemporal Dementia.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am Friday, October 22, at the Pax Christi Catholic Church Chapel with Father Andrzej . Afterwards, an Interment Ceremony will take place at the Cremation Gardens at Rocky Mountain Memorial Park.
Cindi was born November 5, 1954 in Powell, Wyoming, to Robert and Barbara Heward. She was the eldest her sisters, LuAnn and Bobbi Kay. She graduated from Torrington High School in 1973, then went on to attend University of Wyoming, graduating in 1977 with a BA in Psychology. She then entered the workforce before deciding to pursue a Master’s degree in Child and Family Development at Colorado State University and graduated in 1983. In 1985, Cindi and Francis Kethcart were united in marriage on September 28, and later had two children, David and Katherine, and raised them in the Denver metro area.
Cindi is survived by her husband, Francis Kethcart of Loveland; her children David Kethcart and his wife Kayly Kethcart of Castle Rock, Colorado; Katherine Kethcart and her wife Amy Everhart of Denver, Colorado; Robert F. Kethcart and his wife Stephanie of Phoenix, Arizona; her two sisters, LuAnn Heward of Sheridan, Wyoming, and Bobbi Kay Giles and her husband Randy Giles of Torrington, Wyoming; her grandchildchildren, Wren Kethcart of Castle Rock, Colorado, and John W. and Charlotte Kethcart of Phoenix, Arizona and several nieces and nephews.
Cindi is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Ernest Heward and Barbara Scott Heward.
