Lori Bakker

Lori Jean Bakker was born February 1, 1976 in LaCrosse, WI. She graduated from Lansing High School in 1994 and continued her education at Hawkeye Community College graduating with a dental hygienist degree in 1998. Following her graduation she moved from Iowa to Colorado where she planted her roots and lived until her passing.

Without a doubt, Lori’s proudest accomplishment was her sons. Jonah and Jaxon are the most amazing young men you will ever meet.  She spent her time with them hiking, boating, skiing, biking and any other activity that allowed them to get outdoors. She was always active and never still. Everyone who ever met her felt an instant connection with her including her patients at Dr. Rysner’s Dental office.

Lori is survived by her husband Andy Bakker and their two sons, Jonah and Jaxon Bakker of Highlands Ranch, CO; her parents, Lyle and Linda Peters of Lansing, IA, sister Leah (Warren) Campbell of Camp Verde, AZ, brother Jeff (Renae) Peters of Norwalk, IA as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
