Loretta Holp

Loretta (Wampler) Holp, 85 years old passed away peacefully at home in Colorado Springs, April 3rd, 2021. Loretta was the oldest daughter of Paul and Freda (Shade) Wampler born on March 12th, 1936 in New Lebanon, Ohio. Loretta was married to the love of her life, Wilbur (Bud) C. Holp on June 12th,1953. Loretta loved caring for and traveling with her family many times over the years. Her professional years were spent with Good Samaritan Hospital in the surgical department in Ohio. Then with Prudential Insurance as a claims manager once she moved to Evergreen Co. Loretta loved cooking, art, gardening, traveling, music- especially listening to her husband sing, but most of All, she loved her family very much. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Freda Wampler, her sister Donna McCarty, her husband Wilbur (Bud) Holp. Loretta is survived by her sisters Judy (Mark) Grube, and Paula Wampler. Loretta is also survived by her children, Debbie (Tom) Spitler, Jeff Holp, and Lisa (George) Twardowski. Grandchildren, Tricia (Rich) Teller, Jeremy (Misty) Spitler, Kimberly (Jon) Troehler, Jacob Rocke, Zachary (Catherine) Twardowski, Jenny (Colton) Critchlow, and 8 Great Grandchildren. Loretta will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. There will be a viewing and chapel service for Loretta at the Horan & McConaty location at, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, Co. 80227. Viewing starting at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel, service at 11:00 a.m..
