Lester Williams

Lester J. Williams, age 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 65 years, Margery.  Also preceded in death by his great grandchild Mason Guccione.  He leaves behind his 4 children: Wendy Carlton (Greg), Connie Rossi (Al), Patricia Herndon (Chris), and Michael Williams (Kathleen), and 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Les grew up in Wymore, Nebraska.  He joined the US Navy and attended trade school in Milford, Nebraska to become a machinist.  He and Margery spent many happy years in their southeast Denver home.  Les spent 30+ years at Gates Rubber Company after relocating to Colorado from Nebraska in 1953. He progressed from machinist to Plant Superintendent to Shops Superintendent, always carrying a strict code of good work and responsibility with him and those who worked with him.

Memorial Service will be Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11:00 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver, Colorado.
