Lawrence "Larry" Seep

1952 — January 1, 2022

Larry Seep passed away in late October 2022, at his home in Littleton, Colorado. He is survived by his brother, Albert Edwin “Ted” Seep and his sister, Kathy Seep Hendricks as well as his sister-in-law, Mary “Willie” Seep, brother-in-law, Ron Hendricks, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Roxanne Schulze; his parents, Al and Nellie Seep; and his sisters, Mary Ellen Seep Markel (John), JoAnn Seep Meyer (Jim), and Corinne Seep Nylander (Fred).

Larry was born in Denver on June 5, 1952, - the youngest of six children in the Seep family. He and Roxanne married on August 25th, 1979, and shared a love of skiing, art, music, and travel as well as affection for their two dogs. While living briefly in Geneva, Switzerland, they visited many countries in Europe and northern Africa. After Roxanne was diagnosed with cancer, Larry provided care for her until her death in 2000.

For several years Larry maintained his own business as a house painter as well as managing several rental properties. The latter gave him extensive knowledge about repair work and made him a classic and talented handyman. His family and friends cherish memories of his great sense of humor, his incredible gifts as a musician and artist, and his generosity and warmth towards people and animals. His beloved dog, Shamus, died during the Covid pandemic and left him deeply saddened by the loss of a beloved companion.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 21st, 2023 at the Heartlight Center, 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, Colorado 80014.

Donations in his memory can be made to any organization benefiting the welfare of animals or The Denver Hospice (thedenverhospice.org)
