Kendal Clark Weight

December 22, 2006 ~ January 8, 2022 (age 15)

Obituary

Kendal Clark Weight, 15, returned home to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 8, 2022.  He was born in Orem, Utah, the first born son of Clark and Emily Weight, and was raised in Aurora, Colorado.  Kendal was an ideal big brother to his younger siblings and always wanted to do what is right.  His siblings followed in his footsteps and wanted to be like him.

Kendal is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Southlands Ward of the Arapahoe Stake, in Aurora, Colorado.  He had a strong testimony and love of the Gospel and enjoyed attending his ward and serving those in need.  Kendal spoke frequently about serving a mission for his Church.  He was excited for the opportunity to share the Gospel and wanted to serve in Europe.

Kendal was a Freshman at Cherokee Trail High School.  He participated in many school activities including playing trombone in the Jazz Band and playing on the Tennis Team.  He loved attending seminary each morning before school.  Kendal also loved music and was passionate about playing the piano.  He was uniquely talented and would often play a song by ear.  He enjoyed sitting down at the piano and playing for hours.

Kendal had countless friends and genuinely loved being around all of them.  He made each of his friends feel like they were his best friend.  Kendal was happy, kind, and good-hearted and was known as a person that was always smiling.  He brought joy to everyone around him.  Kendal is dearly loved; his big smile and laugh will be missed by his family and all of his friends.

Kendal is survived by his parents, Clark and Emily Weight, and his siblings, Landon, Beckett, and Sloan.  He is also survived by his Grandparents, many Aunts and Uncles, and many Cousins.  Kendal was preceded in death by his Grandpa Fodnes and numerous other relatives.
