Kathleen "Kathy" Barnholt

Kathleen Ruth Barnholt (McKeague) age 71, Passed away peacefully on August 7, 2022.

Kathy was born July 3, 1951, in Jamestown, North Dakota to Alice (Madsen) McKeague and Kenneth William McKeage.  She married her best friend Edward (Eddie) Barnholt on October 18, 1974, in Denver Colorado

Kathy attended high school in Hamilton, Montana, graduating in 1969. She worked for the Postal Service as a rural route mail carrier for 28 years.  She knew everyone and their pets on her route.

Kathy loved being a wife, mom, and "MomMom" to her three grandchildren. Her happiest moments were being with family and friends, and spending summers at the lake cabin in Detroit Lakes, MN.  Which will always be in our memories.

Kathy is survived by her husband Eddie, two daughters, Jennifer (Clancy) O'Brien of Arvada, CO. Kendra Barnholt of Council Bluffs, IA. Her adored grandchildren, Lila, Everen, and Keaton O'Brien. Kathy is also survived by her brother James (Beth) McKeague of Morrison, CO. Sister Kristine (Larry) Milligan of Great Falls, MT. Half siblings Larry (Lillian) Lewis of Wasilla, AK and Judith Ray of BigFork, MT.

A Memorial Service honoring Kathy's life will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 10:00AM at West Bowles Community Church, 12325 West Bowles Avenue, Littleton, Colorado. A reception will follow from 12-4pm at Grant Ranch Village Center, 7255 West Grant Ranch Boulevard, Littleton CO 80213.

She will be place at Fort Logan National Cemetery at a later date.
