Littleton

Judith Ann Bull, 82, joined her angels the evening of Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in Littleton, Colorado, after contracting Covid-19 pneumonia.  She was born Judith Ann Green in Alton, Illinois, on March 14, 1938, to the late Orion Wade and Louise A. (Burns) Green. She had an older brother, Orion Frederick (Fred), and two younger sisters, Gaynell and Glenda Cheryl. Judy remained close to her siblings throughout her life.

Judy was an honor graduate of Alton Senior High in 1956.  She was a Past Worthy Advisor of Alton Assembly Order of Rainbow for Girls.  Judy was a 60+ year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was married to Robert Francis Bull for 25 years.  They had four children: Robert Frederick (Bobby), Julie Ann, Ann Renee’ and Diana Michelle (Missy).

Besides being a devoted wife and mother, she spent a large portion of her adult working career as an Executive Assistant at Duty Free Distributors, America, Inc.  This job allowed her to travel extensively worldwide.

Throughout her life, Judy was an avid sports fan.  Her favorite teams were the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys.

Judy was known for her love of music which she expressed through dance and singing.  She enjoyed country/western and square dancing.  She loved singing in choirs and had a wonderful sense of humor.  Judy was an animal lover – especially her beloved dogs!

Besides her four children, Judy’s pride and joy were her 9 grandchildren.  She loved being a grandma!  It was such a blessing for her to be a part of their lives – loving, supporting and encouraging them wherever their paths took them. She delighted in her role as “Aunt Judy” for her seven nieces and two nephews who adored her.

Judy grew up in the Alton/St. Louis area.  Early in her marriage, she lived in Alton (IL), Los Angeles (CA), back to Alton (IL), Battle Creek (MI) – and finally settled with her family in Farmers Branch, Texas, in 1967.  She lived in Texas for 38 years before moving to Colorado (in 2005) to be near her daughter, Ann, and her family.  She has lived in Colorado for the past 15+ years.

Judy grew up attending Cherry Street Baptist Church in Alton, IL, and after her marriage, joined the Methodist church for the remainder of her life.  She was a very active member of her churches.  She enjoyed singing in the choirs, participating in Bible Studies and the United Methodist Women.

Judy is survived by her three devoted daughters: Julie Bull of Newnan, GA; Ann Guerin (Fred) of Lone Tree, CO; Diana Dunham (Barry) of Norman, OK; her daughter-in-law: Judy G. Bull; and her two sisters: Gaynell Robbins and Glenda McKee (Keith).  She is, also, survived by eight of her grandchildren: Meggan Hill (Richard), Michael Guerin (Samie), Thomas Bull (Wendee), Matthew Guerin, Liana Shiveley (Chauncey), Madeline Berryhill (Colson), Georgia Dunham and Jake Dunham; and one great-grandchild, Van Bull.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Orion and Louise Green; her son, Robert (Bobby) Bull; her granddaughter, Alycia Guerin; and her brother, Fred Green.

Judy was a loving, caring and gentle soul who left her footprints on the hearts of all the lives that she touched.  She now rests in paradise, a life well lived.
