John Streib

John Alan Streib was born August 12, 1956, to William and Doris (Watt) Streib in Somerville, New Jersey.   He attended Wardlaw School in New Jersey and Columbine High School in Colorado, graduating in May of 1975.  John completed his Bachelors degree at Western State College in Gunnison CO. He passed away on June 14, 2021, at the age of 64.

John enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping in the mountains and lakes of Colorado and New Hampshire and adventures shared with family to the Caribbean.  He had a long career in Sales and was able to retire in April 2020.

John married his lovely wife Joanne Elaine (Nelson) on May 23,1987.  They were blessed with two wonderful children, Christopher (Aurora, CO), and Catherine (Boston, MA).  John is also survived by his brother, Charles (Henderson, CO).  John was preceded in death by his parents, William and Doris.

A Memorial Service for John will take place at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, CO 80014

Burial Service will be held at 11:00 am August 14, 2021, at Lakeside Cemetery, Rt 103A, Newbury, NH 03255, on the shores of Lake Sunapee.
