Obituary

Jerry D. Boswell, age 88, died at Morningstar Jordan Memory Care on Saturday, January 21, 2023. The cause was Alzheimer's Disease.

Born January 5, 1935 in Cape Girardeau, MO, he lived in St. Louis, MO, Bloomington, IN,  and Ft. Wayne, IN while obtaining his Bachelors, Masters, and Doctor of Buisness and Finance Administration degrees. Jerry was Chairman of the Board of Works for the City of Ft. Wayne, IN for many years, prior to moving to Denver, CO in 1980 to pursue a career as a professor at Colorado Universities and Colleges until retiring in January 2000.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth, of 57 years, who also resides at Morningstar Jordan, his two daughters, Laura Sexton, living in Forest VA, Victoria Jehl, living in Rome City, IN, and his son, Eric Boswell, living in Louisville, CO. Jerry also has two living grandchildren, David Jehl and Jessica Jehl. Jerry was preceded in death by a grandson, Sebastian Morgan-Boswell. He also has five great-grandchildren, Lydia Jehl, McKenzie Jehl, Jase Jehl, Wyatt Jehl, and Parker Larimore.

Relatives and friends are welcome at Morningstar Jordan, 14301 E. Arapahoe Rd, Centennial, CO, on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. for viewing and visitation, A small memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. following the viewing.

Memorial contributions are not necessary, but if a contribution is made, please consider the Alzheimers Association or Brighton Hospice.
