On Thursday, November 19, 2020, Jane Hanford Case, loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt passed away peacefully at the age of 90.

Jane was born on August 18, 1930 in Hardwick, Vermont to George and Ruth Hanford. Three minutes later, her identical twin sister and best friend, Jean arrived. Her family was her greatest treasure. She is survived by four daughters, Lyn, Kathy, Trish, and Jean; two sons-in-law, Tom and Ramon; her grandchildren, Chris, Alex, Ashleigh, Conor, Savannah, Emily, and Andrew; daughter-in-law Courtney; and great-grandchildren, Ellie and Weston. She also had a large extended family and many friends who loved her greatly for her big heart, contagious smile, and loving nature.

Jane graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a talented artist, whose beautiful oil paintings brought joy to her family and friends. Her paintings were also part of a special exhibition at the Wildlife Experience Museum. For many years she worked as a Deputy City Clerk of Cherry Hills Village. At the age of 60, Jane started a new career as a real estate agent, achieving the two million-dollar sales award for several years.

Jane was known for the pure joy that shone in her eyes, infectious smile, her silly singing and dancing, and the love of her family. Everyone she met became her instant friend and she enjoyed hosting people in her home from around the world. She loved adventures with her grandkids, sailing her own boat, and traveling throughout the world.
