James Villamor

James "Jim" Villamor, 88, of Littleton, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2022. He was a devoted, caring husband to his wife, Cathie (Rodgers), for over 60 years. He was also a loving father to his children Donna, Jimmy, and Steve.

He was born on September 19, 1933 in Philadelphia to Dencio and Anna Mae (Boston) Villamor. He was a family man and was especially close to his two surviving sisters, Arlene Wothers and Anne Marie Birchfield. He graduated high school in 1952 from Northeast High School where he played baseball and was Class Senator. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1952. He proudly served in Germany as an Artillery Field Commander. He was honorably discharged in 1955. He worked for Gulf Oil/Chevron for over 30 years as an accountant. During that time he moved his family from Stratford, NJ to Pittsburgh, PA before settling in Littleton, CO in 1980.

He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, bright smile, love of baseball, storytelling, traveling adventures, trips to Vail, and love of the ocean.

The family will gather for a private interment at Fort Logan Cemetery on October 14, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 15th, 3-5 pm., The Inn at Hudson Gardens, 6115 S. Santa Fe Drive, Littleton, Colorado  80120

Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Pitch In for Baseball & Softball (pifbs.org) to help kids around the world to play ball.
