Evan Lewis Haasbeek

1995 — January 1, 2021

Littleton

Evan Lewis Haasbeek, 26, of Littleton, Colorado passed away April 25th, 2021 in Greenwood Village, CO.  Evan was born on March 11th, 1995 in Littleton, CO and spent most of his life in Colorado, the state he loved and looked forward to exploring fully.  In his younger years, he lived for a while in the Caribbean and in Texas, but always spoke of returning to Colorado where he felt most at home.  Evan was well-traveled for such a young man, having visited several continents and many countries, bringing back memories of strange foods, home-made liquors, and friends made across many cultural and ethnic lines.  Evan was also an accomplished and competitive gamer and loved computers, reveling in the most intricate technical details of building a rig.  He loved technology and working with his hands, from maintaining his truck to constructing vape coils to modifying his collection of airsoft guns.  In contrast to his technical acumen, Evan was also a gifted and creative artist and filled many sketch books with art of various kinds.  He loved music and camping, cooking and craft beer, sunshine and snow, but most of all Evan loved conversation and friends.  Evan was passionate in everything he pursued.  If it was worth his time, it was worth his full attention and energy.  Whatever it was, Evan went hard.

Evan is survived and dearly loved by his father John Haasbeek, mother and stepfather Jill and Mitch Neurock, sisters Amelia Beard, Camille West, and Gracie Haasbeek, and nephews/nieces Addison Beard, Bradley Beard, and Oliver West.  Dat Booty will also be sorely missed by Jon, Hunter, Chris, Colin, and so many others who knew and loved him.  A commemoration of Evan will be held Monday May 3rd at 4:00pm at Horan & McConaty, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial CO 80122.  In lieu of flowers please donate to Wigs for Kids ( www.wigsforkids.org ) or the Denver Dumb Friends League ( https://www.ddfl.org ).

Please share memories and condolences with Evan's family by signing the Tribute Wall.
