Eric Daniels

Eric Manning Daniels, age 61. Born in Columbus, OH, April 12th, 1960; died in Denver, CO, June 18th, 2021.  Predeceased by his father Rollin Daniels. Survived by partner June; children Ashley Nicole, Isaiah, Gabriel; mother Christine; siblings Sue (Tom), Lance (Cherry), Sau (Lai); eight nephews.

Eric grew up in a military family, and in 1970, Eric came to Colorado (damn near a native) and attended Hinkley High School. Eric was a stellar athlete. In 1978, Eric went on to study business at Mesa State and cultivated life-long friendships. After college, he moved back to Aurora and began his family. He welcomed his first child Ashley (1990) and his two sons Isaiah (1997) and Gabriel (1999) with his first wife Autumn. During this time, Eric began his own business, Macro Financial. Eric enjoyed boating, particularly Lake Powell, which was like his second home. He continued different athletic pursuits throughout his life. He had a proclivity for the Denver sports scene, especially the Denver Broncos, and has been a season ticket holder since 1987. Eric never met a stranger and was a friend to many. Eric’s greatest joys were his children, family, Christ, his country, sports, and astronomy (from star-gazing to Star Trek). Eric had a deep connection with Christ and his local church. June and Eric attended weekly mass at Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Eric is a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Heaven has gained a new son and he will be sorely missed by all.

Visitation Wednesday, June 23, 2021, 4:00-7:00pm, Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227. Rosary Thursday, June 24, 2021, 10:30 am, Funeral Mass 11:00 am, both at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1985 Miller St., Lakewood, CO 80215. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
