Elizabeth "Betty" Reynolds

Elizabeth (Betty) V (Virginia) Rockel Reynolds, born June 6, 1931, in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away at her home in Centennial, Colorado on November 13, 2020.

Heaven has gained a beautiful soul and is more vibrant today, and our world is a little less beautiful.

Betty leaves behind a wonderful legacy. She was so loved by everyone who knew her; whether it was as a wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt or friend. She leaves behind her husband of 70 years, Charles (Buck) Thomas Reynolds, six children and their families, Patricia and Calvin Roberts, Charles (Chuck) and Tami Reynolds, Barbara and Ed Kreimier, Michael and Jeanette Reynolds, Diane and Rich Flagg, and Robert and Treena Reynolds, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren (…and another on the way), 2 sisters, Emma (Peggy) Bamford and Caroline Gomoljak, and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her father (Poppy), mother (Nanny), and granddaughter, Madison Reynolds. Betty met the love of her life at an early age and from that moment on her life was about family and unconditional love. They were blessed to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary this past summer. Betty remained steadfast her whole life in her trust and love of Jesus and the Virgin Mother Mary, never failing to turn over her heart to them in times of joy and of sorrow.

Betty loved to cook and bake, and she passed this love on to her children and grandchildren. They continue to share her sweet tradition of Christmas cookies and yummy spaghetti sauce and meatballs with their family and friends today. Betty believed in the importance and gift of family and was rarely absent from any family gathering (which could be 50+ when all were there). She will be remembered and missed by many.
