She was born in Welby Colorado on February 8, 1941 to John Phillip and Jo

Darlene is survived by her sister, Delores Barneski, and great-niece, Chelsea Lee.

”Dee was a former teacher and loved to travel. She and her friend Gwen would go on many trips around the world together as they both enjoyed seeing new sights and exploring different countries. Dee also was a Cadillac type of girl. She had over 3 Cadillacs in her life and 2006 Cadillac was her baby. Everywhere she went, you knew it was her, not only by her car, but also hearing Frank Sinatra playing.
Dee loved to tell stories and she had a great sense of humor that was added to the stories she told. You would never forget the stories since she always made them so enjoyable and unforgettable.”
