Clyde Wallace "Skip" Heaney

Clyde Wallace "Skip" Heaney, 71, of Littleton, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at 3:05 PM at Littleton Adventist Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife and sons.  Skip was born on July 8, 1950 in Fairmont, WV to John and Vera Heaney. He was an Electrical Engineer for the United States Postal Service for 37 years until his retirement in July of 2009. On July 31, 1971 he married Camille Ann Petti, they raised two sons, Chris and Chet. 

Skip had a wide variety of passions and interests. He was a lifelong fan of country western and science fiction tv shows and movies. He loved classic cars, in particular the late 60's Shelby Cobra. He loved to read and collected an impressive collection of books and magazines on a wide variety of topics including musicians, science fiction, politics, education and religion, with the dream of one day becoming a published author himself. He also liked to collect model cars, trains and other limited edition collectible items.  However, his ultimate passion was spending time with his family, his wife, children and doting on his grandchildren. 

Skip is preceded in death by his father, John, and his mother, Vera. He is survived by his wife, Camille, his two children, Chris (Sabrina), Chet (Jessica), his four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kyla, Rhiannon and Sage, his three brothers Chuck (Diana), Ken (Parma), and Denzil (Connie), and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Thursday May 19th, from 4-7PM, followed by funeral services on Friday May 20th at 10:30AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO. Interment will follow at 3:30PM, Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
