Charla Kramer Smyth

Charla Kramer Smyth, 80, of Lakewood, Colorado, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from a recent recurrence of cancer.

Charla was born October 31, 1941, in Denver, Colorado to Doris and Charlie Gardino. A few years after her birth, her sister, Karen joined their family. She was in the graduating class of 1959 from South High School and then attended CSU for two years.

Charla married Raymond Kramer in 1966. They divorced in 1990.

She then met and married Dennis Smyth on June 23, 1995

Charla worked as a marketing administrative assistant for many years, working for both Frontier Airlines and Standard and Poor’s. She was an avid volunteer at Angel Heart and Café 180.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Smyth; daughter, Stephanie Menke and son, Brian Kramer (wife, Brandi); grandchildren, Griffin Menke, Riley Menke, Mitchell Kramer and Addy Reiter; other family, Michael Delzer (Chris Starks) and Leslie Nielson; and her sweet little Cooper (the dog). Charla was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Sedlack in November of 2020.

A Celebration of Charla’s Life will be held on Saturday, February 5th, 2022 from 2:00-5:00pm at the Holiday Bar, 403 Bear Creek Ave, Morrison CO #303-697-5658
