Brian Flohr

May 26, 1983 — August 8, 2022

Highlands Ranch

Brian, 39, passed away peacefully in his sleep August 8th in his home. He was born to Claudia and Robert Flohr. Brian was receiving care in his home from his mother since 2019 due to a spinal cord injury resulting in quadriplegia.

Before going home in 2019, Brian received rehab at Craig Hospital for several months and had very fond memories of those who cared for him there.

Brian graduated from Thunder Ridge High School in 2002. Brian earned a letter jacket for academic achievement and graduated with honors.

He worked in various law enforcement roles including security and probation work. Law Enforcement was his lifelong passion, and he loved the work that he did.

Brian had a delightful character and had many longtime friends including Alex Rydell since grade school and Mike Piraino since high school, along with many others. Brian was an avid Denver Broncos fan and worked in event security at the stadium where he became good friends with Reggie Rivers. He was very close to his mother, sister, and brother-in-law Eric.

He is survived by his mother Claudia, sister Stacy (Eric), numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father Robert and his grandparents.

A graveside service will be held September 2nd at 11am at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Columnar A in Castle Rock, CO. Celebration of Life reception to follow, starting at 1pm in the Library Room at Lansdowne Arms, 9352 Dorchester Street / Highlands Ranch, CO 80129.
