Beverly Alisky was quite a remarkable person in so many ways. She had been a devoted wife to her late husband Marvin who often said he never could have achieved what he did professionally and personally without her encouragement and love. She went to join him on what would have been their 67th wedding anniversary. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, and neither of them would be where they are today without her.
Bev was quite accomplished in her own right, as a talented piano player, school teacher, tax accountant and IRS agent. She had a bachelor of music from Indiana University and a master’s in education from Arizona State University. She worked on several political campaigns, a few of which unofficially she was advising some top people. She was instrumental in bringing special education to Arizona and was one of the founding members of Arizona Association for Children with Learning Disabilities.
Bev had a very cynical sense of humor, but in person was very kind. She is survived by so many people she wants to send her love to: two sons; her two grandsons; her daughter-in-law she called her daughter in love; her baby brother, his wife and their two daughters; several cousins and relatives; great friends in multiple states; and the entire Parkview ward.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5175 S. Picadilly Street, Aurora, CO 80015
Bev has been laid to rest with her husband at the Mountain View Cemetery in Mesa, Arizona.
