Beverly Hawkins

January 2, 1955 — June 14, 2022

Aurora, CO

Beverly Grace Hawkins was born on January 2, 1955 in Little Rock Arkansas to Vipi Jones Marley and William Marley, Jr. Beverly was the fourth child and she was surrounded by her brothers Ray, Donald, Larry and her sister Patricia.

Beverly received her early education in Denver, Colorado where she graduated from South High School.

Beverly found the Lord in 1978 under Pastor Eugene Graham of Globeville Church of God in Christ.
Beverly then joined Faith Christian Fellowship of Denver, Pastor Dereck Anderson.

Beverly worked at Wheat Ridge Regional Center where she met her husband Elijah Hawkins and they were married on April 19, 1986.

In 1987 Beverly and Elijah joined Now Faith Christian under Bishop Leon Emmerson.  While there Beverly found her true calling as a Prophet of God. Pastor Sylvia Boyer encouraged Beverly to study the office of a Prophet and find out who she was. For that reason Beverly had become a very powerful Prophet in the body of Christ. She impacted the lives of many.

Beverly has held plenty of women conferences here in Colorado and has preached in a lot of women conferences all over the United States.
She believed in women’s ministry and was grateful for the two men that gave her the opportunity to minister, Pastor Leon Emmerson and Pastor Gregory McDonald.

Beverly and her husband were the Pastors over the Nursing Home Ministry at Now Faith Christian Center church.

Beverly  was a great influence to many of women in Denver, Colorado who have joined the Prison Ministry under Heritage Christin Center who have now moved on in two different cities and they have started their own ministries.

Beverly Hawkins has been a Pastor at Heritage Christin Center and a part of the Prison Ministry for over 22 years. She was also part of the women’s ministry at Heritage Christin Center under Pastor Michelle Leonard and also has her certificate and Lay-Counseling at Heritage Christin Center under Bishop Dennis Leonard.

Even while dealing with cancer that she was diagnosed with nine years ago, she continued to do the work of the ministry.

She stood on the promises of God’s word and believe that it was nothing too hard for God and she put all her trust into Him. Even in her last days before she left she refused to let go and she was such a warrior that she continued to prophesy and put things down on paper of what God was telling her.

Beverly leaves behind her 2 Brothers Ray and Donald and her sister Billie Jean Marley along with her husband Elijah Hawkins.

Beverly will be truly missed by her husband who was her ride and die partner. They did everything together and went into every prison together for over 18 years.
