Beverly Gordon

Beverly Gordon, of Arvada, Colorado passed away on July 27, 2020.

Beverly Irene Gordon was born, August 19, 1935, in Ironton Missouri. Her parents, Joseph and Ruth Lindquist were delighted to welcome their second child. When she was just two-years-old the family packed up and moved to Denver Colorado. While still in high school she met Stanley  Gordon. They were married June 17, 1954 and moved to Arvada. Bev and Stan adopted two daughters, Shelly and Sheryl. After 54 years of happy marriage Stan passed away, on June 2, 2011. On May 15, 2019, she married Bob Roy. She often spoke about how blessed she felt to have had two such extraordinary men in her life.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Lindquist and Ruth Connely; husband, Stanley Gordan and brother, Jay Lindquist.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Roy; children, Shelly and Rob Rankin, Sheryl and Gene Cure, Gloria and Jeff Beste, Andy and Christine Roy; grandchildren, Andy, Josh, Tyler, Katie, Caleb, Amanda, Danielle, Phil, Travis, Heather, Henry, Landon  Ryan, Colette, Jake; great-grandchildren, Jackie, Hannah, Sabrina, Nathanial, Tavian, Isabella, Nicholas, Maddy, Brighton, Caleb, Jade, Julian, Carter; adoptive family, Eilene Mundlin, John Hartnagle, the Schneiders; Mark, June, Lance, Paige and many loving nieces and nephews and adored friends.

A visitation for Beverly will be on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 2pm to 6pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado 80003.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020 at 10:30am at Faith Bible Chapel (in the sanctuary), 6250 Wright Street, Arvada, Colorado 80004.

All who wish to attend; please feel free to wear pink to honor the memory of Bev's zest for life. Social distancing and masks will be practiced at both services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Beverly's name may be made to Philippine Native Crusades, checks made to Fe Reyes, 4113 Almria Avenue, Sebring, Florida 33872. The Cortez family and the Philippine National Crusade were close to her heart for over 55 years. This Bible School is still active in training native Filipino ministers to spread the gospel. Beverly’s bond with the Cortez family was so strong that Fe Reyes, the eldest daughter of CR and Hosanna Cortez even named her daughter Beverly. We hope you will consider a donation to the Philippine National Crusade in lieu of flowers.
