Anthony (Tony) Mangus

Tony is the son of Judy and Vince Mangus. He graduated from Regis High School in 1988 and from Loyola Marymount University with a B.S. in Finance in 1992. He worked at Valbridge Property Advisors as a commercial real estate appraiser.

Tony was an avid golfer, rugby player and coach, a pilot, and a “sportsologist”. He never had children but he fiercely loved his fur babies, Steeler and Dutch.  He was a wonderful son and loving brother, as well as an engaging uncle. He was a loyal and passionate friend to countless people. He was a positive force with an amazing smile and he will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Tony was involved with Aurora Saracens Rugby and the Wounded Warrior Project.  He received the 1994 MVP award from Queen City Rugby and was a Wolff Brothers Frisbee Golf Champion.

Tony is the son of Judy and Vince Mangus. He is also survived by his brother Tom Mangus and his sisters Kathleen (Mark) Tanner and Susie (Mike) Rogers, and his nieces and nephews David Tanner, Luke Tanner, Charlie Tanner, Molly Rogers, and Leah Ahearn. He will also be missed by his dog Dutch. He is preceeded in death by his nephew Tony Tanner.

A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 30th, 2020 at 10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Light of the World Catholic Church in Littleton, Colorado.  Due to Covid restrictions, the services are by invitation only.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Tony Mangus Memorial Scholarship at Regis Jesuit High School.
