Alice "Dusty" Johnson

Alice “Dusty” Louise Johnson went home to heaven on January 9th, 2022.  Born on December 5th in Twin Falls, Idaho in 1927.  Her last moments were at home with family around, peaceful in bed.  She is survived by Children Jane Hill, Michael Goodell, Ron (Patty) Johnson, and Judy Mitchell.  Grandchildren Rachael (Kert) Eichhorn, Justin (Tanya) Hill, Alexander Aust, Doug (Becky) Luzatin, Jill Luzatin, Tom, Andy and Dean Mitchell.  Great Grandchildren Owen and Sawyer Eichhorn, Eli Best-Hill, Kyler and Maddie Luzatin, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Alice previously worked as a secretary at the Colorado School of Mines and Wheat Ridge High School.  She never fully retired as a mother, homemaker, and mentor.  Dusty had been an active member at Montview Presbyterian Church for many years.  She was also a member of the women’s organization PEO, belonging to the Chapter O in Golden.

Dusty will be remembered most for the kind, loving, Christian woman she was.  Her smile was contagious, her positivity was profound, her joy – captivating.
