Albert Richard Coghlan

Albert Richard Coghlan, more commonly known as Rich, passed away May 24th, 2021. Rich was born July 2, 1966 in California to parents Albert and Susan. Rich moved around a lot through his childhood, but eventually came to call Colorado home in 1998 with his two daughters.

Rich always had a smile on his face with an attitude to match, communicating to others old and new was never difficult for him. Due to his loving nature, people soon called him a friend. Rich dedicated much of his time to his family, friends and of course being outdoors.

He was a devoted father, brother and son. Family was his first priority. He did not do this because he was obligated, but as to who he was as a person. He spent much of his time bass fishing as soon as the ice melted, to hunting with his brother Michael in the fall and winter. Fond memories will forever be cherished through camping, gatherings, traveling and of course fishing.

Rich was well known in his community through his work, friends and family. To those who know him, knew his passion for being honest, hard working, loving and kind to every person who crossed his path.

Rich was an enthusiastic fisherman; family would call him “Fishin’ Richie”, hunter, outdoorsman, father, brother, son, friend and employee. He served a life with great purpose and made this world shine.

Rich would always cherish the day and savor every moment he had. His passion for life and legacy will live on through the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with during his life. His thoughtfulness and giving spirit will carry on through the donations of tissue, corneas and heart valves through Donor’s Alliance.

Rich is survived by his two daughters (Taylor and Hannah), Mother (Susan), Brother (Michael), two sisters (Janelle and Elena). He is preceded in death by his father (Albert) and brother (Patrick).
