William Vanasdale, 89 of Denver, CO passed away peacefully on may 19, 2021. William was born in Shelby, Ohio on April 5, 1932. He was the only son of Walter and Emma Vanasdale, who also had three daughters.
After graduating from High School, William served his country during the Korean War in the Navy on the USS Valley Forge aircraft carrier.
William and his wife Janice, with their two children Pam and Mike, moved from Ohio to Denver in 1966 where Bill began his career with Untied Airlines. He worked as a Crew Scheduler with united until his retirement.
Being an avid fisherman, he loved the big fish fry in the backyard. Bill will be remembered by all of his friends and family as a kind, gentle man who loved to laugh and joke around constantly. His humor and friendliness will be greatly missed.
William, also known as "Papa," is survived by his daughter Pam, son Mike, Grandchildren Megan, Hunter, Rylan, Nikki and Katie and his great grandson Easton. He is also survived by his sister barb Schrader of Belville, Ohio.
Services will be held at Horan and McConaty 1091 South Colorado Boulevard Denver, Colorado on June 12, 2021 at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made "In Memory of William Vanasdale" to the American Patriot Services Corp.
