William Twine

Bill passed away August 27, 2014. Bill was born in Chicago Illinois on July 21, 1932. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He received a Bachelors of Arts degree from Adams State University in 1959 and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Colorado in 1972. Bill worked in the public health field at the local, state, and federal level his entire career. He retired from the U.S. Health and Human Services Department in January, 1993. Bill loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, model airplanes, and many other outdoor activities. Survived by his wife, Frances; daughters, Janet Bowman (Lonnie) and Janiene Arellanes (Jeff); grandchildren, Chad (Jana), Kara, Jordan, Adam and Brad; great grandson, Jack; sister, Lee Bortin; nephew, Paul, niece, Jeanie (Phil), and nephew, Kurt (Debbie). Preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Lillian B. Twine. Memorial Service in his honor will be Saturday, August 30, 2014, 2:00 PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the DAV, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250.
