William Paul Summers, Jr.

W. Paul Summers, Jr, 50 , William Paul Summers, Jr., of Thornton, Colorado, passed away May 15, 2015. He is survived by his wife – Tammy Summers (Liscomb); daughter – Chelsea (Wade Thompson) and granddaughter Lillian; daughter – Kaitlyn (Andrew Seegmiller); son – Brian (Jami) Gaultney and granddaughter Ashlyn. His father and mother, W. Paul and Penny Summers, Sr.; his in-laws, Donald and Hazel Soule III; Twin sisters – Alyssa Summers and Kay (Robert) McCormack; Aunt - Janice Martin and her daughter Shon Turnage; Nieces – Jasmine (Matt) Bartlett and their son Austin; Brittany Hamilton; Krista Martin; Catherine McCormack; Nephews – JJ Turnage; William T. McCormack; C. Paul Nabus; Darren Nabus; Daniel Nabus. Paul is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents – Elbert and Elva Reeves; paternal grandparents – Paul and Lorene Pickard and aunts and uncles. Paul was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on January 7, 1965. He graduated from Pomona High School in Arvada, CO, and received his Bachelors in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University. Paul was a very loving soul and giving person; many times giving to anyone in need. He loved to cook and made an awesome green chili along with many other fabulous meals. His passions were golf, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a friend for life to those he knew. He was a remarkable son, brother, husband, father, uncle and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial Services and reception will be at Horan & McConaty at 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, CO, (303) 280-4688, on Saturday, May 23rd at 10:00am with reception to follow at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family respectively requests a donation be made in Paul's name to a charity of your choice (anything helping children, homeless, and animals would have been his favorites).
