William ""Bill"" Max Moore

William “Bill” Moore, 86, of Castle Pines Village, Colorado, passed away at Belleview Heights Alzheimer’s Special Care Center on January 8, 2019.

Born to parents Max and Virginia Moore in Denver, Colorado, Bill was a true Colorado native. As a young man Bill attended the University of Colorado and graduated with a degree in Business. He then went to work in real estate with his father at Moore Realty Co, which Max founded in 1931. After his father’s sudden death in 1970, Bill ran the company and grew it from three to 24 offices across the state to become the largest family owned real estate company in Colorado. His company philosophy was, “Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.” Bill was passionate about his work and that was evidenced by the positions he held as President of the Denver Board of Realtors, the Colorado Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Bill lived his professional life by the following three principles: Interest is to receive, not to pay; never fix anybody else’s investment problem; and you make your money when you buy.

Bill is survived by his wife, Freda Moore; daughter, Linda Moore Niederman (Peter); grandchildren, Nicole and Davis Niederman, and numerous extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Donna Lou Moore; daughter, Marla Moore; and sisters, Nancy Moore Striebing and Sally Moore Haxton.

A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 3:00PM at Greenwood Community Church, 5600 East Belleview Avenue, in Greenwood Village, Colorado 80111. There will be a reception following the service at Glenmoor Country Club, 110 Glenmoor Drive, Cherry Hills Village, Colorado 80113.
