William Allen Luetticke

William is preceded in death by his foster parents, Ronald & Mary Mikesell, foster brother, Ronald Jr. Mikesell, and his foster sister, Barbara Abel Mikesell. He is survived by his foster brother, David Mikesell, sister-in-law, Terry Mikesell, brother-in-law, Mitch Abel, foster brother, Daniel Mikesell, and sister-in-law, Julie Mikesell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

William was raised in Mt. Saint Vincent Home after the death of his parents (1950-1955) and was subsequently sent to the State Home and Training School (Ridge Home), where he spent several years as a ward of the state, leaving there in 1975.

William adopted his foster parents in 1959, the Mikesell’s, and spent holidays, weekends, and vacations with his adopted family.

William was no stranger to work as he had several jobs, including working at the Federal Center for over twenty years. He worked at numerous Rockies and Broncos games. He served as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. He also volunteered at Catholic Charites Aurora Family Assistance Center.

William was an avid Rockies and Broncos fan and enjoyed watching the games.

William was very active in his church (Our Lady of Mount Carmel) was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a crucifer and alter boy for the church.

Funeral Services will be on November 27th at 10 AM Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (5612 S Hickory St Littleton CO 80120).  There will be a reception at the church following the service.  Burial will take place on December 4th at 11 AM at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, CO.
