William Scott Hamilton
January 28th, 1938-March 8th, 2026

William “Bill” Scott Hamilton of Westminster Colorado passed away on March 8th, 2026 at the age of 88 years. As we all mourn the loss of a Father, Grandfather “Papap”, and Friend may our hearts be comforted knowing that he is now in the presence of the Lord and has been reunited with loved ones and friends who have passed before him.

Born on January 28th, 1938 to John Scott Hamilton and Alice Sue McDermit he was the youngest of six children and grew up in Beaver Falls Pennsylvania, a small town about 45 minutes outside of Pittsburg.

He is survived by his only daughter Brenda Colleen Inman(51) , 5 grandsons Jacob(33), Casey(30), Tristan(28), Zachary(27) and Caleb(24) as well as 5 great grandchildren Audrey(10) Caroline(8) Jonathan(3) Arabella(2) and Olivia(6 months)

After serving in the Navy as an Aviation Engine Mechanic he got married to his wife Sharon who preceded him in death in November of 2020. They moved to Colorado in the late 60’s where he began his career with Trans World Airlines as a ramp service agent/mechanic.

He had a love for Ham Radio and his call sign was KU0E, it was one of his favorite hobbies to be able to speak with people over the radio from all over the world and enjoyed sharing that passion with family and friends. He also very much loved his Pittsburg Steelers and was always watching the games when they were aired, and if football wasn’t on the TV it was either golf or NASCAR..

William had a strong sense of faith and spent many years involved in the church as a Deacon and also Chairman of the Deacon Board at Northwest Baptist Church. Along with his wife also taught Sunday school and whenever possible were together to hand out handmade items and personal care bags to the homeless.

He had a long blessed life full of love and laughter and will be forever missed!

A celebration of life service will be held at 4 pm on July 7th, 2026 at Horan and McConaty funeral home 9998 Grant Street Thornton Colorado with a reception to follow.
