William Felitti

December 18, 1946 — April 16, 2023

Brighton, CO

William "Bill" Felitti was born on December 18th, 1946 in Mount Vernon, New York, to Ulysses and Juliet Felitti.

His love for restaurants eventually brought him to Denver Colorado in the late 1960's to attend Denver University.

He was a member of Theta Chi fraternity and paid his dues cooking for his fraternity brothers.

In 1977, he met his lovely wife, Chiquita at The Lady and the Dove. A restaurant and discoteque in Denver, Colorado.

After many successes with the Village Inn Corporation, Bill ventured off on his own to open Fedora's, A Place to Hang Your Hat.

Bill and Chiquita went on to have two children, Nicole and Brandon.

Restaurants were the foundation to the Felitti family, and hospitality, the heartbeat.

From the beginning of his journey, right up until the end, Bill quite simply, loved and believed in SO many individuals.

Always the first to mentor, teach, champion and guide, Bill saw EVERYONE'S potential, often much sooner than they saw their own.

He was the funniest man in the room, the jokester, the dancer, and occasionally the singer.

But mostly, he was the BEST dad, husband, brother, father-in law, son and best friend anyone could ask for.

To know him is to love him and it is so incredibly comforting to know just how many lives he has touched.

He is survived by his closest companion in love, work and life, Chiquita.  His best friend, confidant and little sister, Lorraine.  His witty older sister, Camille. His mother-in law, Takako and the Cardenas family.  His two children Nicole and Brandon. His son-in law Matthew and the Lewis-Olsen family.  And lastly his four legged loves, Bella, Archie, Subie and Poppy.

We know Ulysses, Julie, Fred, Ray C., Bill V., Benny, Marley and Charley welcomed him home the day he left us.

For all of those who knew Bill, he would want for us to remember the laughs, the jokes, the hard conversations and the journey because he was a part of all of those moments.  Thank you for knowing and loving him just as much as we do.
