October 17, 1939 -May 17, 2026
Bill was born in Red Bank, NJ and grew up in the small Jersey shore town of Keansburg. He was the youngest of 6 children. Bill loved living in Keansburg, where he worked summers on the boardwalk with his father and 2 older brother's, Jack and Joe, on his father's miniature train that carried passengers off boats from New York to the amusement park. He was a volunteer firefighter for the West Keansburg Fire Co., and when Uncle Sam called, Bill proudly served in the US Army.
Bill worked for Johns Manville for 40 years. In the beginning he commuted to New York City from Keansburg on the bus, which is where he met his future wife, Joanne Stipeck. They married in 1965 and had 2 children. A few years later he accepted an opportunity with the company that meant a transfer to Colorado, where he moved with his intrepid wife and small children to start a new adventure.
Bill spent his retirement traveling the world, and summers in Breckenridge at his condo with his second wife Diane Miller. He loved helping people and volunteered at Meals on Wheels also Littleton and St. Anthony's Hospital.
Bill was a very caring, good-natured man and will be remembered for his thoughtful advice, generosity, hospitality, Irish Spirit and legendary Christmas in July parties.
Bill is predeceased by his son, Bill Jr., and is survived by his loving daughter Carolyn Kinsella; son in-law Valdon Erpelding; stepdaughter Kristen Miller; daughter-in-law Lisa Fritz-Kinsella; grandson Nathan Fritz (Liz Fritz); sister in-law Frances Kinsella.
