Waynette ""Wayne"" Louise Yarmer, age 62, passed away January 1, 2014 from complications of Scleroderma she had bravely battled for 15 years. Born February 25, 1951, in Burlington, Colorado to Wayne and Hildur Schiffner, Wayne worked on the family farm and was a 1969 graduate of Burlington High School. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Marlin Yarmer; daughters, Sadie Enyart of Colorado Springs, CO , Abbie and husband Matt Atkins of Anastasia Island, FL; stepsons, Scott Yarmer of Aurora, CO , Chad and wife Kristie Yarmer of Craig, CO; grandchildren, Hazel Atkins, Wyatt and Jessie Yarmer, Ben and Emilee Yarmer; two spoiled cats SoFee and BaLee; sisters, Kathy Thorson, Claudia Stallings, Sharon Lakey, Harriet Warren and Nancy Van Etten; brother in-laws Kerry Van Etten and Dwight Lakey and many nieces and nephews. Wayne truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; a former tennis player and coach, she loved reading, writing short stories, doing crafts, listening to music, dancing and singing, watching movies, and spending time with family playing games. Wayne had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Family, friends and others who lives Wayne touched are invited to Horan & McConaty, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014. Services will be oficiated by stepson Chad Yarmer, followed by a catered lunch/reception. Please wear something purple in honor of Wayne.
