Wayne W. Wasson

September 15, 1947 — March 7, 2015

Wayne, 67, of Westminster, CO, passed March 7, 2015. Born in Iowa, Wayne graduated in 1965, from Excelsior Springs High School, in Missouri. He married Linda Hutton in April, 1966. Wayne joined the US Army and served during Vietnam. The couple moved to Colorado in 1984. He retired from Rush Peterbuilt Truck, Inc., in Denver, in 2013. Throughout his life, Wayne enjoyed hunting and fishing and set a State of Colorado record for largest cutbow fish caught, while ice fishing. Wayne is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda; son, Kevin; daughter-in-law, Tristen; grandson, Tobyn; brother, Ed Wasson; sister, Christine Williams; sister-in-law, Carol White and several nieces & nephews. A Committal Service will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Area ""B,"" 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.
