Waymon (Bud) Goodnight was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on June 15, 1932 to Iva and Jewel Goodnight. He had two siblings, Winfred (Fred) Goodnight and Lula Mae Hutchinson, who preceded him in death.
He served in the Army as a marksman for three years. He was in the Korean War and received the bronze service star and was honorably discharged.
He married Carolyn Cline on May 23, 1953 in Moline, Illinois. She was the love of his life. They had two children, Lurene and Sherri.
Waymon (Bud) enjoyed time with and providing for his family, westerns, fishing, and was a master mechanic.
Waymon (Bud) is survived by his children, Lurene, Sherri and her husband Terry; his grandchildren, Talia and her husband Elisha, and James and his fiancé Ericka; and his great-granddaughter, Inara.
We miss him every day but know he is very happy to be reunited with the love of his life, Carolyn.
