Walter (Wally, KC) Dale Stream passed away peacefully in his home of 47 years in Westminster, Colorado on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the age of 81. Born in Crystal Falls, Michigan on January 20, 1944, Wally is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Denise (Ball) Stream, his seven children: Clark Stream, Gaye Lynn Stream, Elton Stream, Justin Stream, Bernadette Botha, Amanda (Stream) Morgan, and Eric Stream, twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Wally was a devoted husband and proud father. He truly believed his purpose in life was to raise successful, grounded children, and he never missed an opportunity to boast about them. He was a true lover of sports, music, and politics. He was a man of God who relished a good religious or political debate.
Wally served in the U.S. Air Force, where he first fell in love with the Rocky Mountains of Colorado—mountains he later chose as his permanent home. Those who knew him well know that he never aged a day beyond 29, a spirit reflected in his patient, jovial disposition, no matter what life threw his way.
He sang his way through life—whether in the shower, while brewing endless pots of coffee, or with his guitar on his knee and pick in hand. He lived by the lyrics he loved most and left us with some we will never forget:
“When life has ended, my time has run out,
My friends and my loved ones I’ll leave there’s no doubt.
But there’s one thing for certain when it comes my time,
I’ll leave this old world with a satisfied mind.”
Wally will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery, with services to be announced.
